I'm not sure about the other two, but ours wasn't. [Which is about the only good thing that can be said for it.] It was just really, really bad terrain. No food or water, and since it was practically inside a volcano or something, it was super hot.
I think we went with whichever spirit was "ours". Or, like... whichever we belonged to, I guess? They think that some of us are theirs, so I think when we split up, that's how it was divided.
[He doesn't know what determines who belongs to who, though, nor is he particularly pleased with someone who isn't Haru trying to lay claim on him.]
...I see. It is true that Maris did call me his. [ So that means his element was water? ] I do not...think it is right for him to call us that. Haru-san is still our...master.
[ Even if he's been told that it's fine to think and act as humans would. Kousetsu still has that sort of feeling and attachment to the young saniwa. ]
[Kashuu does too, even though he's one of the most "human-like" of the swords, and he nods without hesitation.]
Ardeo like, asked to keep me and everything, and I had to explain to him that I belong to Haruji. I don't think they get that kinda stuff either, but I don't like it.
[Even if he likes Ardeo, that's still no bueno...]
[He has to be careful with that, if he crosses the Serious Threshold his face might become a black hole and open a portal through time and space...
But after Kashuu was done feeling flattered that someone else wanted to keep him, he wasn't cool with it either, SO:]
They seem pretty powerful, so I guess it probably has something to do with that. [In the same way that gods rule over more minor deities and all... But they aren't even from this planet so why?!]
...yes they are like us in that they have physical forms and are capable of speech. [ Unlike most spirits that they've head of back home. Ghosts were definitely not this powerful, at the ones in children's stories. ]
I have been leaving offerings at the shrines in hopes that they may speak with us again, but nothing has come of it.
I hope that you are able to find out more information about them and this place.
[ Kousetsu is curious to know what the deal is with the spirits here and their history. Though he doubts they'll get that much information out of the other spirit. ]
If you need to I will accompany you, in case Ardeo tries anything.
You're always a real big help. [That gets a bright smile! You do good, Kousetsu.] Buuut, I should probably head out and check on some other people now. Lemme know if you need anything too, 'kay?

So you were with Mutsu's group, yeah? He told me about that.

It was defeated however, so that is the least of our worries. Were other places attacked as well?

[ He doesn't honestly know but there was something that connected them all. ]
It was...in a volcano you said? And ours was a beach...
[ Elements perhaps? ] I am glad that you were unharmed, Kashuu-san.

Oh— thanks. [A nod! He's grateful.] I'm glad Haruji fixed you up, too.

...I see. That is...not what I had expected of them. Another spirit trying to own a similar spirit it is not...right.

I'll try to talk to Ardeo later then, since he might answer... It'd be nice to get some answers.

Ah-- that's also probably a good idea, considering Kashuu may just get his ass kidnapped someday if he lets his guard down.]
Thanks. I'll let you know, 'kay?

[ Please be safe?! Kousetsu is worried and doesn't want anything bad to happen to his sword family after all. ]
